Before you vote in the Alberta election on Tuesday April 16, 2019, please read and share the attached. The information most relevant to Alberta and this election is at the end of the thread.
On March 15, 2019, distracted by the manufactured SNC scandal, Canadians and Albertans were likewise distracted by the confirmation that Jason Kenney & UCP were being investigated for identity fraud related to a Kamikaze campaign.

The subsequent confirmation over the past month of identity fraud, fake emails, an RCMP raid of a UCP candidates home and a business, a series of fines for money laundering, should give every Albertan doubts about the fitness to govern the UCP severely lacks.
Other more disturbing news should have been the top story that day. It’s related and intertwined with the revelations of corruption regarding Kenney and many within the UCP membership. Late April 13, 2019 I was sent an article that led me to the info that was obfuscated.
Foreign Affairs Minister, Chrystia Freeland, announced new sanctions on Russia, including Vladimir Yakunin, Sergey Chemezov & Igor Sechin.

Three very rich & powerful men, close to Vladimir Putin sanctioned, along with the corporations they run, the assets & accounts frozen.
US President Barrack Obama sanctioned these men and froze their assets and US based bank accounts shortly after Russia illegally annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. The EU also sanctioned Sechin, and the oil company he runs, Rosneft.
Yakunin is shunned, but not sanctioned by EU. Chemezov is linked to Roscon.

Canada didn’t sanction these men until March 15, 2019.

Using hindsight, the optics of this decision and 5 year delay are suspect.

In 2014, all 3 men were excluded from Russian sanctions implemented by PM Harper. Yakunin, & Chemezov because Bombardier lobbied on their behalf; Sechin because Rosneft has a 30% ownership in Exxon subsidiary Imperial Oil’s Cardium Harmattan acreage.

Exxon Mobil holds 56K acres, which is operated by its Canadian affiliate, Imperial Oil Ltd. Rosneft subsidiaries acquired a 30% stakes in ExxonMobil projects in Cardium. Central Alberta.
Bombardier & LaForge lobbied John Baird and Lisa Raitt several times prior to sanctions being announced. The requests made were never revealed, citing confidentiality.

This information means that global efforts to sanction Russia & Putin for illegally annexing Crimea were ineffective and undermined by the decision to allow Rosneft, Roscon & Russian Railways, along with Sechin, Chemezov & Yakunin to freely continue to profit in the Billions.
Stephen Harper allowed business interests of major corporations to influence Russian sanctions in a deal that appears remarkably similar to the US Treasury Department’s lax sanctions designed by Steve Mnuchin and lifted in January 2019.

Questions:

Was it only Canadian Corporations that lobbied CPC, or were foreign lobbyists requesting sanction relief as well?

Was there anything promised in return for sanctions relief for the 3 Putin associates and the 3 Russian corporations they run?
Prime Minister Trudeau & LPC also allowed Russia to supercede global sanctions, by allowing sanction relief to continue.

Was LPC lobbied by domestic & foreign interests?
It’s unclear why it took so long to sanction 3 Putin associates, but as of March 15, 2019 their assets & bank accounts are frozen, under the Special Economic Measures (Russia) Regulations & no Canadian entity can supercede the sanctions without a permit.
This is the part that is relevant to the Alberta election on April 16, 2019.
On March 10, 2019, Kenney revealed his Private Property Platform. He may have had advance warning the new sanctions were coming since the Act required House & Senate approval.

I wrote a thread analyzing the policies and what it could mean for Alberta.

One sentence reveals the danger that corporate interests pose to Alberta natural resources, human health & safety, the environment and the public purse.

Attempts to regulate resource production/extraction would require govt compensation to the corporation for lost revenues.
Here is the UCP Platform for Private Property. One of the policies Kenney intends to implement quickly.

Private Property refers to real property. Not personal property.

It includes real estate, land and the resources that can be sold on that land. Like oil and natural gas.
A key phrase sticks out in the official UCP platform.

“... a government ‘freezing’ part or all of a private property with regulation but offering no compensation.”
Kenney has put in print his intent to override the federal sanctions on Rosneft.

The man, and many of his candidates, party members & closest advisors have demonstrated corrupt intent.

How else can the UCP private property agenda be viewed, but as intent to aid an adversary?
Vote. Our province’s and nation’s freedom, sovereignty and democracy depend on the outcome of the election.

🙏🏼🤞🏼✊🏼🇨🇦
And the final kicker...

Igor Sechin’s meeting with Carter Page in 2016 and the negotiated deal to give 19% of Rosneft in exchange for sanctions relief are detailed in the Christopher Steele Dossier.
