Let’s take a look at an glaring discrepancy between the Mueller report and the account of Alexander Downer.

The Mueller report claims that Papadopoulos met with “a representative of a foreign government” (Downer) on May 6, 2016 and told him that the Russian government could “assist” the Trump campaign by releasing damaging information.

The official position of the Australian government, however, is that Papadopoulos and Downer met on May 10th.

Those 4 days matter.

Back in Nov 2018, PapaD told Dan Bongino that Misfud told him that the “Russians have thousands of Hillary Clinton’s emails.”

PapaD said, “I’m just thinking...Is this guy just validating rumors that Judge Napolitano, I think the day before, was openly speculating on Fox News.”

So it wasn’t Mifsud who watched Judge Nap. The dates do not work.

But even if they did, why would Mifsud be watching Fox News?

PapaD is the one who saw Judge Nap discussing HRC’s emails.

And here’s Downer’s version of what PapaD said:

“It was just that this guy [Papadopoulos] clearly knew that the Russians did have material on Hillary Clinton—but whether Trump knew or not? He didn’t say Trump knew or that Trump was in any way involved in this. He said it

That sounds a lot like what Judge Nap claimed.

When he met with Downer the next day, were PapaD’s comments to Downer based on what he heard Judge Nap say the night before?

That would be so like PapaD. He’ll latch on to the latest conspiracy theory from any rando twitter account and run with it...if it helps him.

PapaD was pushing that “we know” they are discussing Mifsud.

No, we didn’t know. And thanks to the meticulous research of @walkafyre we now know the text mostly like refers to a completely unrelated case.

But what’s the significance of April 6th vs 10th dates?

If PapaD mentioned the Russians having HRC's emails prior to hearing Judge Nap discussing the possibility, then that lends greater credibility to the Russians-hacked-the-DNC narrative.

He didn't hear it from Judge Nap; he heard from the mysterious professor who traveled to Russia. Big difference.

I admit that I find delicious the possibility that the self-aggrandizing PapaD kicked off Crossfire Hurricane because he repeated what he heard some blowhard on Fox News said.

It’s just a theory though. One of among many that could be true.

It’s just as likely as the established narrative that “we know” Mifsud pushed the information into PapaD and Downer pulled it out.

That scenario makes it sound like the info was extracted from PapaD as he laid strapped to a medieval torture rack.

Nothing like that happened. He simply gave up the information, voluntarily, to a foreign diplomat.

And it wouldn’t be the only time. PapaD admits in his book he’s prone to speaking rashly. He told the Greek foreign minister that the Russians had HRC’s emails.

PapaD also reveals in his book that when he was arrested in July 2017, he was returning to the US to interview for a position as a Fox News analyst.

That would be the perfect job for him.
