No way. This is sly propaganda. We need to formally open the impeachment inquiry, not rush the vote on some putative anti-Trump GOP’s schedule. Then parade EVERY WITNESS BEFORE THE PUBLIC. Senate conviction votes will materialize from the homestate rage that will follow.
And if vote count falls a bit short? No matter. We will have forced every GOP to go on record whether what those witnesses testified Trump did is bad, or perfectly ok. If the latter, outraged constituents will replace them at polls. And we will use same outrage to replace *45.
Formally starting hearings, now, is the important step, not rushing to a House vote.
