In 2014, the Greens were closer than the Liberal Democrats to flipping the sixth seat in Yorkshire and Humberside, which was won by UKIP. (Note though that Labour and the Tories were slightly closer to flipping it, and LibDems won a seat in YH in the three previous EP elections).
