EXCLUSIVE - Writing in 2008, @JeremyCorbyn compared pro-Palestinian activists attempting to break the blockade on Gaza to Jewish Holocaust survivors fleeing Europe......
Apparently “there are interesting historical connotations” in the fact that both used Cyprus as “their point of departure”……
The only “historical connotations” I can see here is the suggestion that Palestinians or the Palestinian plight is in some way equivalent or similar to the plight of Jewish Holocaust survivors. It is a lazy comparison, and one that opens up antisemitic Israel-Nazi comparisons.
A few years ago the Jewish community may have given @JeremyCorbyn the benefit of the doubt, however the weight of evidence proves that this follows a consistent pattern of Jew-baiting and deeply inappropriate and offensive comparisons by Corbyn.....
Remember when @JeremyCorbyn compared the situation in Gaza to the “siege of Leningrad and Stalingrad” carried out by the Nazis….
Or when @JeremyCorbyn compared Israel’s occupation of the West Bank to the Nazi occupation of Europe during WW2…….
The fact of the matter is that @JeremyCorbyn has no issue with using Jewish pain and suffering at the hand of the Nazis as a stick to beat Israel with today. It is offensive, it is wrong and it is antisemitic…..
Shoutout to @Magnitsky for his help on this one!
