2/ Remain/Leave is a non-issue in the EU elections. The assumption of fighting them is we stay in - so Labour needs a much more radical reform proposal than the one offered by the PES: i.e. scrap the Lisbon Treaty and rewrite the rules of Europe

Labour is already committed to standing on the PES manifesto ... the left can't fight the EU elections on any other platform than Remain/Reform/Revolt... and for an Europe wide Green New Deal...
The instincts of Labour traditionalists to "get back to our economic agenda" is right - but xenophobic authoritarian nationalism is the threat. The opportunity lies in mobilising progressive Britain to defeat them...

3/ Labour shadow cabinet at odds over 2 ways forward: a) put Customs Union and Second Referendum to separate votes in parliament (ensuring the PV falls) b) Insist they are a single legislative package. Only the latter fulfils party policy...

However, I will not allow him to create a wrong, false and mischievous impression about the reasons for my decision to exit the All Progressives Congress (APC) and present his prejudice as facts for public consumption.
