If you can’t guarantee supply chain integrity, you are going to end up with a lot of intellectual property lawsuits-and a lot of customers who abandon you & are willing to pay more at other outlets for supply chain integrity.

At some point, I see a tipping point where amazon is going to have to start paying me to buy from them.
Whole Foods has already gone downhill. Anecdata but IMO:
The prices are cheaper but quality = shittier, shelves go unstocked longer, and employees seem less happy.

A relentless focus on cost cutting = the Walmartification of retail culture.
And some people are done with that.
I don’t want “luxury,” which is often just branding slapped on top of the same shoddy manufacturing.
I want QUALITY.

P.S. It’s all about economies of scale, which eventually, if unchecked, lead to monopolies, and therefore to inefficiencies. I’ll get into that at some point in the future.
