At 6’3” 253 lbs setting the edge can be a challenge vs. larger sized OTs. OX’s upper body strength is solid, his lower body will benefit from NFL locker room. Nice job setting edge here vs Outside Zone #GiantsPride
FAU mostly ran their stud RB at OX’s side (played exclusively on the D’s left), but here OX reads flow away. At his best as a see it chase it run defender. Solid finish, but again lower body strength improvement will help #GiantsPride
Mostly in 2pt stances(and ODU rarely varied fronts usually DT was 2 or 3-tech), and absorbs the tackle’s jump set w/good body control to Swim Move flushing QB out of the pocket. His hand usage is his way out of problems #GiantsPride
Like new teammate Dexter Lawrence, OX’s lower body agility is impressive. Nice read here the tackle's cut block to adjust his rush, get in the passing lane, and explode to get mitts on the ball. Vs NFL Quick game this is important #GiantsPride
2 plays winning on the inside (or low) side, can often be the quickest way to QB. Play 1 OX flashes/a long arm stab(1 of his better moves) to solid burst, and Play 2 he counters the LT’s set w/quick Change of Direction Burst #GiantsPride
Did not see him drop into coverage 1x in this game, BUT just bc he wasn't asked to does not mean he can’t do it. Great example where Bettcher prob wont be asking him to carry RB's downfield, but his athleticism says he could drop like OV #GiantsPride
Think right away OX can hang his hat in sub-package at Left Edge. If paired w/a Stunt threat like Lawrence, believe his long arm (right handed) is a step up to Carter’s. Perhaps overlooked is how the personnel “fit” is more important than scheme #GiantsPride
