Also: the bi-partisan congressional report found that welfare work requirements, marriage promotion, and subsidizing long lasting birth control isn’t the answer to alleviating poverty. Those are conservative talking points that do NOTHING for poverty.

Blaming black poverty on “broken” black families and reliance on welfare (which btw was gutted in the 90s and made less effective) instead of systematic economic inequalities is playing right into the hands of racists.
