This is Anas Sarwar's account of Labour's process in dealing with the case - after 15 months of waiting, he was apparently given four days notice of the hearing...and then told he couldn't appear as a witness because he hadn't given two weeks notice, so the case was chucked out 
This presumably is why Richard Leonard's spokesman said yesterday that he "has concerns about the disciplinary process, how properly resourced it is, and whether it delivers fairness to both sides"

A new response from Richard Leonard - he says Anas Sarwar's complaints "deserve to be treated seriously". Says these kinds of cases need to be dealt with "more efficiently and more quickly", and that "clearly more still needs to be done".
