People can be intelligent in different ways. In fact, there are about seven (7) intelligence as discovered by research, of which #EmotionalIntelligence is one. #EI #HRwithEM
Emotional Intelligence is a type of intelligence that is made up of intra- and inter- personal intelligence. #EmotionalIntelligence #EI #HRwithEM
Emotional Intelligence is your ability to RECOGNISE and MANAGE how you feel and how others feel in order to achieve your desired result. #EmotionalIntelligence #EI #HRwithEM
The @wef has stated in one of it's research result that by 2020, Emotional Intelligence is expected to become one of the top 6 skills required to succeed at work. #EmotionalIntelligence #EI #HRwithEM
Emotional Intelligence has four (4) domains as follows:
1. Self awareness
2. Self management
3. Social awareness
4. Relationship management

2/4 The CEO should begin to lead based on Emotional Intelligence. #EmotionalIntelligence #EI #HRwithEM
3/4 HR policies and procedures should entrench Emotional Intelligence in whole talent acquisition process (recruitment, selection and onboarding). #EmotionalIntelligence #EI #HRwithEM
4/4 Reward people when they demonstrate Emotional Intelligence and sanction when they don't. What is not measured, recognised and rewarded is usually not sustained. #EmotionalIntelligence #EI #HRwithEM
