my dogs are on the national leaderboard for the abortion access bowl a thon for the money we raised for @WVFREE!
we have until tomorrow night to raise as much money as we can for @FundMSabortions and @yellowfund!

in 2001, alabama had 12 abortion clinics. today it has 3. the state has a mandatory 48 hour waiting period, meaning someone in mobile has to drive two hours each way twice, two days apart, to access a simple medical procedure.

abortion funds like @yellowfund and @FundMSabortions don't just pay for procedures. they help people navigate a process that's been made confusing and difficult on purpose. they make emergency contraception and condoms available in their communities.

@FundMSabortions is renovating a house in jackson, MS they call the fundshack. they provide menstrual products to the houseless. they provide diapers & formula to families. they are changing & saving lives.

every fund in the bowlathon does amazing work in their community! smaller funds, especially those in rural areas, especially those in the south, in states where abortion laws are harshest, though, tend to raise a lot less money.

if the story was retracted, we deserve a statement about why. this just looks like the city is trying to change the record and the local media is helping them do it
the city tried forcing the daily progress to retract the story that sparked the bizarre meltdown someone in city government had last week. the progress stood by their story.

waiting for the day when the city demands i delete a tweet.

Planned Parenthood wants you to think it only kills babies occasionally.

It has claimed that abortion makes up just 3% of the services it provides, as if snuffing out the lives of unborn children sporadically somehow makes it more excusable morally.

For years, it has guarded the 3% figure & a complicit press has reprinted it uncritically. #CecileRichards repeated it during congressional testimony. Journalists at CNN, Politico & NYT publish it w/out qualification. It's repeated so often, it has become an ironclad lie.
Unraveling the truth would be a disaster for Planned Parenthood. Congress might not write it as many taxpayer checks if the public learned that the largest abortion provider does, in fact, make its money by performing abortions — 328,348 abortions a year.
