EXCLUSIVE Conservative party grassroots members to hold no confidence vote in Theresa May on Sat June 15.
Vote is not binding but, if she loses, it will put huge pressure on Mrs May to quit.
The vote by members at an EGM of the National Conservative Convention is unprecedented.

The EGM will be at a central London location starting at or after midday on Sat June 15.
Members of the National Conservative Convention - 800 association and area chairmen - are receiving an email from the convention’s chairman Andrew Sharpe overnight with the details.

Andrew Sharpe reprints the no confidence motion in email to members of the National Conservative Convention adding: "The Extraordinary General Meeting to debate this will be held on Saturday June 15th at a Central London location. This will be the only agenda item."

EGM no confidence motion says it has "been almost 3 years since we voted to leave and after 2 extensions to the original departure date, we no longer feel that Mrs May is the right person to continue as Prime Minister to lead us forward in the negotiations..."

"... We therefore with great reluctance ask that she considers her position and resigns, to allow the Conservative Party to choose another leader, and the Country to move forward and negotiate our exit from the EU." A vote in favour could hasten end of Theresa May's leadership.

The party has to give at least 28 days' notice for the EGM, and it has to be held on a Saturday (to allow members to attend).
This meant - in reality - 1st, 8th or 15th June.
The last date means - I am guessing - that it won't overshadow the Trump visit to the UK (3-5 June).
