1) @RedSox @BDCSox Cora is misinformed and disrespectful. Shameful. PR got allocated $41 bil- & they have on the table another $50 bil more over time from OMB estimated recovery costs. The govt red tape slows everything down. The money is coming from more than 1 agency.

1)I don't follow Q but I have researched. NXIVM is a secret sex cult led by Keith Raniere ran out of Arkansas when Bubba was Gov. 2004 Sen Gillibrand's father Doug Rutnik lobbyist worked for them but Raniere sued him & he settled. NXIVM donated to HRC campaigns.
2)Richard Mays-Clinton friend & top fund raiser connected.Nancy Salzman of Clinton Global Initiative was also raided by FBI for her connection. There are 3 known Clinton Global Init members connected to NXIVM. 2 are the Bronfmans- heiresses to Seagrams, connected to HRC & Libya
3)Seems many are involved even Mexico's last President Salinas' son. Edgar Bronfman's (Seagrams Co.) daughter Clare supposedly put a virus on his pc so they could read his emails to world leaders and also HRC's emails when she was Sec of St & running for President,

Great CFOs measure and think about capital efficiency all the time:
- Can we expect high growth to continue by applying capital?
- How much value do we generate with each dollar we consume?
- How long does it take to pay back our CAC using gross margin dollars?

2/
Great CFOs measure and think about product-market fit all the time:
- What does our organic acquisition funnel looks like?
- How deeply do our users engage with our product?
- Do customers spend more over time on our product?

Lyft S-1 is interesting for sure. Some good stuff, some things that raise some questions. A few things that jump out.
The most surprising thing to me was the relentless rise in take rate. I did not expect to see revs as a percent bookings at 28.7%. This is important, because I am skeptical this can go too much higher, and as we'll see, has driven a significant improvement in economics.
If you look at the change in bookings per ride versus revenues per ride, you can see how significant the increase in take rate has been on a per ride basis

1/ Much analysis: Apple has long known it is missing the boat on providing low priced phones—strategic mistake to cede “low end” to Android. Or raised prices too much/soon. Then it must be an easy answer to just lower prices or make low priced phones. Ack! Harder than it looks.
2/ Pricing is much more sophisticated than this. Pricing not only says who can afford your product but also establishes a brand, determines channel, & more.

Many say Apple is a luxury brand; certainly they focused on that. Clearly more recently prices have gone up in real terms.
3/ PC v Mac really showed the weakness in appealing to luxury brand in a volume driven market. High prices were the undoing of the Mac from the very early days.

Going back to 1990, height of Apple, PCs sold at 10X the Mac run rate. But Macs had much higher margins per device.

As a further introduction, I thought it might be helpful to have a thread including the primary sources of information for earthquakes around the world & nationally. This will hopefully be useful for those interested in looking up about quakes in the future 1/n
The most often used source for earthquake information is USGS (@USGSted). They locate quakes all over the world, with a more detailed catalogue provided for the US & their associated territories (primarily Puerto Rico). Their website is here: earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ma… 2/n
To search the database for specific events click on the gear on the top right of the page, then click the button "Search Earthquake Catalog". This will redirect you to a search engine, where you can input magnitude, date & area bounds to search for specific events 3/n

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
