This is ridiculous propaganda, funded by oligarch Bill Gates & written by pro-opposition activists in Turkey.

It's so misleading: It doesn't mention that the HTS "rebels" that control Idlib are rebranded al-Qaeda & are attacking civilians in the safe zone

Aside from whitewashing the al-Qaeda fascists in "HTS," this propaganda (which was written in opposition hotbed Gaziantep, Turkey) also conveniently fails to mention that the other "rebels" in Idlib are literally embedded within the occupying Turkish army

This propaganda, like most corporate media "reporting" on Syria, treats opinion quotes from opposition activists as facts. The absurdly hyperbolic headline is a quote from a random guy, but presented as a fact

Why doesn't The Guardian use similar quotes from Gazans in headlines?
It would actually be accurate if The Guardian [of Blairism] published an article with the headline:
"Civilians fear 'mass extermination' as bloody Israeli assault on Gaza intensifies"

But of course the neoliberal newspaper would never dream of doing that

This is the key point that continues to be ignored in corporate media reports on Assange: He was willing to go to Sweden and participate in the investigation (although he was not charged) — BUT Britain and Sweden refused to protect him from US extradition
In fact, Swedish prosecutors tried to drop extradition proceedings against Julian Assange as early as 2013 (they finally dropped them in 2017), but the *British government pressured them to continue*!

A UK lawyer wrote, “Don’t you dare get cold feet!!!”

What's more, British prosecutors admitted to destroying key emails in the Julian Assange case! Including email exchanges with Swedish prosecutors — while the UK government was pressuring Sweden to continue the case, dragging it out as long as possible

Key details on the accusations against Assange: One of the 2 women, Sofia Wilen, said had been “railroaded by police," "did not want to accuse JA," and police "made up the charges"

The other woman has extensive ties to US/CIA-backed Cuban dissident groups
This was reported by mainstream corporate media, but the reports were later buried. The Miami Herald (which has employed US-funded anti-Cuba propagandists in the past) published this in 2010: "Accuser of WikiLeaks' Assange is linked to Cuban dissidents"

So it seems #Idlib ops (divided into 3 stages) has been moved for a further date, giving me enough time to close the Iraqi news and return to #Syria, soon.
#Turkey failed to integrate al-Nusra, aka Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham, within rebels army (it might succeed at a certain point); failed to isolate al-Qaeda (Hurras el-Deen) & foreign fighters, incl Chinese Uyghur jihadists. So Erdogan turned against the #EU

#Russia refused any negotiation over Jihadists in #Idlib and insisted on Turkey to fulfil its promises or stand down.

Close friend just asked that I further explain the linkage between #Turkey ‘s Economic polices and the exchange rate. Why is the Lira falling?

The reason is that the 16% inflation rate is too high and requires higher interest rates to compensate savers/investors ==>more
2-Note that Lira’s fall has come after #Turkey achieved credit fueled 7.4% economic growth (one of fastest amongst G20). Higher growth brought more imports (all energy imported) and added to the persistently large trade/current account deficits. Such Deficits have to be funded
3-Funding need of #Turkey to pay for this trade/current account deficit is estimated at $230 Billion per year. This is what happens when you persistently import more than you expert. Foreigners suffering from low rates in G3 & in search of higher returns funded this deficit
