Conservatives and libertarians LOVE invisible hand mechanisms

I, Pencil - Leonard Read's essay - is a great explanation of emergent order - but it's also an *aesthetic* that governs right-wing thought

The problem? Sometimes you need to solve problems directly
If you are waiting for an invisible hand mechanism to solve the problem of social media censorship

You are going to be waiting a long time

If the wait stops, it will only be because the left managed to achieve full communism due to your fecklessness
I've yet to read a good response to "Platform access is a civil right"

A whole bunch of "nuh-uh" responses from libertarians especially

Guess what, guys - not everyone shares your aesthetic absolutism re: invisible hand mechanisms
Even the conservatives "bold" solutions are super-indirect

"Let's make it so Facebook and Twitter are exposed to defamation liability!"

Isn't the problem CENSORSHIP?

Why don't we write a law to...STOP CENSORSHIP?

"Nah, that's crazy, making law is something the left does."
