There are 53 Republican Senators, right?

That means there are 52 public condemnations of @SenatorBurr we should demand
I realize it’s an extreme step to strip a sitting Senator of his committee

It’s also an extreme step for a Senator to subpoena the son of a President OF HIS OWN PARTY

@SenatorBurr should not be in charge of the Intelligence committee
Thank you to @RandPaul for being the first

Republicans like @SenatorBurr were not elected to indulge Democrat conspiracy theories

You know, I've been pretty critical of @benshapiro, but I'm not about to let this absolutely garbage interview from @afneil go unanswered

A well-spoken 14-year-old could produce interviewing of a similar quality

We'll start with @afneil's first absolutely insipid question:

"Haven't the conservatives run out of ideas in America...all the new policies, medicare for all, $15 minimum wage, the green new deal, they are all coming from the left, and they're popular!"
Total softball, and @benshapiro answers it easily - none of the ideas @afneil mentions are new, and there's a robust intellectual debate over populism/nationalism, health care, global warming, markets vs. tariffs.

I, Pencil - Leonard Read's essay - is a great explanation of emergent order - but it's also an *aesthetic* that governs right-wing thought

The problem? Sometimes you need to solve problems directly
If you are waiting for an invisible hand mechanism to solve the problem of social media censorship

You are going to be waiting a long time

If the wait stops, it will only be because the left managed to achieve full communism due to your fecklessness
I've yet to read a good response to "Platform access is a civil right"

OK y'all there is A LOT going on right now on the shutdown crisis and the next 48 hours in the Senate are CRUCIAL. I'm going to try and run through it all and talk about where your voice is needed.
McConnell and Schumer have negotiated an agreement to bring TWO bills to the Senate floor on Thursday. Either bill needs sixty votes to pass.
The first bill is a Trump immigration bill. This is what he announced on Saturday. It's the wall, radical shifts to asylum policy, more money for cages and enforcement.

They're pretending this is a compromise. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A COMPROMISE. The Senate must reject it.

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.

The new House majority is offering a bipartisan solution to end this #TrumpShutdown. Speaker Pelosi just brought 4 funding bills to the House floor that ALREADY passed the Senate by a bipartisan vote of 92 to 6.
To repeat: Senators Schumer & McConnell, along with 90 Republican & Democratic Senators, ALREADY voted YES on passing 4 of the 6 bills that the new Democratic House majority just passed in an effort to end the Trump Shutdown.
Senator McConnell ALSO voted YES in committee on the remaining 2 funding bills that the House just passed to reopen the government.
