How @jstreetdotorg polls are biased:

Here's one of the questions from their latest poll.

Look at how they phrase the "pro-Israel" question.

"I support Israel because they are constantly threatened, and they are America's democratic ally in the Middle East."

1/
@jstreetdotorg These are fairly weak reasons to support Israel - but they are the only ones given in the poll.

How about "Israel was built by Jews to fulfill their ancient dreams of a national home"?

Or "Antisemitism is still a problem and Israel is the only place Jews know they can be safe"?
@jstreetdotorg Or "American and Israel share values of hard work and morality?

Or "Israel has helped American interests in intelligence, high tech partnerships, defense and environmental issues?"
@jstreetdotorg Now the second choice, the one that J-Street favors, is deceptive as well: " I support both Israel and the Palestinians and will work to help them
resolve their conflict and reach a final status peace agreement."

Who can be against that? But there is no context...
@jstreetdotorg They won't say "There has been no progress in peace since 1993, because Palestinians have scuttled every American and Israeli peace plan. Palestinians still teach hate and Israel wants real peace and security. Should the US still work towards treating them equally?"
@jstreetdotorg They certainly won't say "The Palestinians have had every chance to accept a peace plan and refused, in 2000, 2001, 2008 and a framework in 2013. Should we still act like we did in 1999?"
