A book that tells women they should listen to their husbands rather than God because women are more easily deceived is not safe.
An organization or church that promotes that book is not safe, either.

This is what really grieves me about Love & Respect: It says that a man’s intuition is more accurate, so women should defer to men—presumably because women should never think they can hear from God.
This isn't just a doctrinal difference; this is a different gospel as Galatians 1 talks about. This is telling women that they can't have a direct relationship with God, even though Paul wrote: "there is one God, and one mediator between us and God." And it's Jesus, not husbands!
