Asian investors are looking for cover & more are buying this morning as they rather get fixed income (2.25% of it) versus owning equity for the the potential upside of firms' earnings as they see the likelihood of downside rising. Nikkei -1.7% this morning & HK opens in 30mins😬
Grew up in North Cal & whenever I go home, my friends are all obsessed about buying a house (mostly professionals w/ decent wages) & a sense that prices are off the chart, esp housing. THEY ARE OFF THE CHART - CPI 4% YoY in CA versus 2% for all of the US. SoCal also bad 📈🔥🔥🔥
