Can you all please spell out this “compromise” you are all pushing, what does it look like and what is your mechanism for getting it. Which rights are being taken from leavers which they value in return to the rights being taken from us that we value?
Perhaps your leavers would like to lose rights to some of our statutory holidays in return for their imaginary increased say of their rules?
What about right to maternity or paternity leave? I am sure the Tories are waiting for the opportunities to reduce those rights.
What about the rights to healthcare free at the point of use, there is some useful capital for sorting out a great trade deal with the USA.
Instead of constantly pushing these fantasies it’s time the hard and soft brexiters spelt out what they mean. The likes of Lisa Nandy and Rory Stewart have been bandying the word compromise for 3 years.
Just as the leave camp in the original referendum they have failed to spell out what that means exactly. Who are the losers and who are the winners?
It’s utterly meaningless. Theresa May put flesh in what that “compromise” means and funnily enough nobody liked it because everyone was a loser.
So let’s shine a light on that. Let’s get that question out into the hands of the public so we can examine in detail reality brexit versus the excellent deal we have at the centre if the most powerful and successful trading and political grouping in the world. #PeoplesVote
