1. Missouri may lose its last abortion clinic tonight at midnight.

This isn't an accident.

The legislature imposed new licensing requirements and the governor used them to shut down as many clinics as possible.

3. A representative for @reedhastings says those donations were intended to support a bill to expand charter schools.

But these donations were to politicians and empower those politicians to advance their entire agenda.

4. What this really means is that women's rights are negotiable. If a politician is willing to support @reedhastings on charter schools, he's willing to empower them to impose an abortion ban.

Hard to justify doing that and then claim you are devoted to women's rights.

5. @reedhastings could say that these donations were a mistake and he won't make similar ones in the future. But he's not saying that. He's saying he gets to contribute to whomever he wants and then continue to claim to be an advocate for women's equality
