Glad @dnvolz reminded me; a little annoyed I didn’t circle back to that in my own testimony, but an itemized fact check would’ve burned all my time.
The FISC imposed very strict rules! NSA only queried the database like 300 times a year! When they were following the rules. The other 17,835 queries don’t count.
I’m sure he meant to mention the second number; probably just slipped his mind.
