Day 1 of the "outrage" cycle to capture news. Expect more outrage whilst everyone is planning to respond to first. Trump knows @SadiqKhan is much beloved and this will annoy most of the UK ->
... ah, the comments on the NHS and trade with UK ... "outrage"!

Get used to this, every day. Try not to react. Don't let him control the narrative.
Hmmm, lots of abusive comments on @realDonaldTrump ... whatever you think of his policies, you have to respect his ability to exploit the media and his skilful use of outrage or you will never be able to counteract it, you will just lose control of the narrative.
It's also important to remember that @realDonaldTrump is spot on regarding "by far the most important ally of the United Kingdom" but being an ally (both ways) also means raising the hard questions and not just agreeing with policy. Be specific, be clear, be firm, be calm.
Finally, and I know many don't want to hear this, just remember you're insulting POTUS and that also means the Office itself and the US electorate. Challenge the policies and the comments but be firm and be civil.
Yes, it's called putting on a brave face whilst fuming inside and I'm not surprised given Trump's comments about the Duchess of Sussex -> Prince Harry Looks ‘Grumpy' At Donald Trump’s State Banquet - ibtimes.com/prince-harry-l…
A “carnival of resistance” is spot on ... except the blimp, it's just too much of an own goal, a gimmick, a distraction from an important protest and achieves nothing -> - theguardian.com/us-news/2019/j…

... the question that people need to be asking, to be constantly beating the drum on is ... you promised to make America great again, when exactly will this happen?
Forget the rest, forget the outrage, forget the merits of the election ... that's all part of how the game is played and people are distracted. Focus on the one question and keep asking "when?"
... ah, @realDonaldTrump on @jeremycorbyn - "I respect people who get things done" - bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi… ... well, wake me up when you've "Made America Great Again". When exactly are you supposed to be delivering on that? It was after all, your single message.
X : Are you being "nasty"?
Me : Lol, no. But a promise was made and there should be a timeframe & delivery. The US electorate deserves to know when America has been made great again - so they can judge the delivery.
