Not a right time , but feel like I should do a thread on the so called PM’s Scholarship for 5 crore minority students !! I will tell , how most of us have been duped and taken for a ride by presstitute media and tricked into abusing our own government as mulla appeaser (1/n)

In para 3, minority affairs minister Naqvi says that “our target is to provide “pradhanmantri scholarship to 5 crore students in the next 5 years.” Point to be noted is that nowhere has he mentioned “minority students”. He has only said students. This is important to note. (4/n)
Why I am saying this is important to note will be clear now. Naqvi mentioned about “Pradhanmantri Scholarship”. Let’s learn about this. Pradhanmantri Scholarship is an initiative by PM for students who have passed 10th or 12th and want to pursue higher education. (5/n)

There are 5 types of scholarship under Pradhanmantri Scholarship as you can see here. Note eligibility criteria. As u can see, 3 of them which require 12th pass criteria (with minimum 60% marks) plus other specific criteria like being ward of ex-servicemen/CAPF/RPF etc (7/n)
Even the other 2 schemes , are for economically and financially weaker sections. No religion criteria. (8/n)
Now let’s assume that Naqvi meant only ‘minority’ religion students when he said 5 crore students. But amongst the existing Pradhanmantri Scholarship schemes , none of them would be able to possibly absorb 5 crore students in 5 years. Eligibilities simply dont match at all. (9/n)
Thus , to provide scholarship to 5 crore minority students in 5 years , not only will a new scheme have to be announced, but also that scheme, instead of covering 10th n 12th pass only ,will have to cover all minority students from 1st to 12th,or maybe atleast 5th to 12th. (10/n)
Reason is very simple- you simply cant have 5 crore minority students clearing 10th or 12th in 5 years. CBSE Had 31 lakh giving 12th exam FROM ALL COMMUNITIES this year. Obviously , no such scheme has been announced. (11/n)
Thus , like I said, impossible to have scholarship to 5 crore minority students under existing schemes and any new scheme, now let us come back to the fact that Naqvi said only ‘students’ and not ‘minority students’ in his PIB release. (12/n)
It is equally true , that all existing scholarship schemes with their eligibility criteria cannot cover 5 crore students in 5 years , even if the students belong to ALL COMMUNITIES. Thus here also , a new scheme will have to be announced with a huge relaxation of criteria. (13/n)

It is simply stupid and now I would say disgusting that RW blindly believe the same media who they call presstitutes. This entire “scholarship to 5 crore minority students” is a bogus lie by presstitutes and RW as usual fell for it. They should learn to research or... (15/n)

Adding additional point here. Other than Pradhanmantri Scholarships , Scholarship from National Scholarship Portal also there. But their combined target is nowhere near 1 crore per annum reqd to fulfill 5 crores in 5 years. (17/n)
Plus , minority affairs ministry’s annual budget is ₹4,500 crores only for all schemes. It has seen an increase of only ₹100-400 crore each year. Now , combining this budget, with NSP n Pradhanmantri scholarships, how do 1 crore p.a. students come into picture !? (18/n)
As pointed by reality check , from these 4,500 ,1,700 cr have been approved 4 scholarships under 3 schemes. Let’s assume this amount is increased 2 ₹2,500cr. Even then 1 crore annual beneficiaries only get ₹2,500. This year’s distribution target of 3 schemes-35L60K (19/n)
To fulfill target of 5 crore in 5 years , the 3 schemes will have to average 1 crore annually. As this year’s distribution target is ₹35,60,000 , would need a huge increase in target to make it 1 crore annually. Also correspondingly huge increase in budget. (20/n)
If both come,I will definitely bash the government. As of now , increase from 35.6 Lakh annually to 1 crore annually seems very difficult to me, due to existing criteria as well as statistically. In past 5 years, no of beneficiaries of these 3 schemes have infact gone down (21/n)
Ultimately , let’s see how things unfold. If criteria are relaxed and targets (with budget), lead to increase of distribution from 35.6 Lakhs to 1 cr minority students annually, I will surely bash Modi government over it. Enough said. (22/n)
