I fucking hate hoaxes like these bc they harm the reputation of Trump supporters as a whole. They are designed to.

The death of Tony Rodham is hardly suspicious, when the guy was a 300lb 64-64 year old who likely drank, smoked and cocaine-snorted his way into an early grave.

Yes, his crimes will be exposed anyway.

(3) The death of Jonathan Nichols is under investigation. There is currently no verifiable, credible, public info that would lead me to suspect a political motive.

(5) Chris Reed, 50, was reportedly knocked out of his fishing boat after another vessel passed it, causing a large wake.

He was not wearing a life jacket at the time.

People are advised to wear a life jacket at all times while in such a boat.

(7) Seeing hoaxers trying to exploit the death of Steven Silks crossed a line for me.

An obvious suicide, of a person in a high risk occupation. I personally know of police, lawyers, a doctor, dentist, and a veterinarian who took their own life.

(8) Walter Lübcke, 65 year old German politician was found dead at his home early last Sunday morning. Lots of factors here that lean towards a personal, not a political motivation for his murder.

(11) So far I've reviewed & added 9 cases to my thread fact-checking whether they can reasonably be suspected as political assassinations. They include, for example, a 71yo who died of cancer, & an 87yo who likely died of natural causes. Please tell me of any others you see.
(12) Case #10 is the death of LEO Joe Calabrese. IMO this tragic case fits with the other actual suicides of first responders, military officers, other professionals etc.

Falsely claiming political homicide is a disgraceful mistreatment of his family.

(13) Case #11 was predicted by many of us as soon as we heard a helicopter had crashed in NYC hours ago. Sure enough, the inane tweets were easy to find.

It LOOKS like a malfunction that may have been heroically resolved without injury to the public on the ground. If so, kudos.

(2) I became interested in hurricanes after Katrina in 2005. Then when Harvey hit, I was fascinated by the prepping, warning, response, and recovery. Lots of public policy issues.
(3) The Dem mayor of Houston refused to order a mass evacuation, claiming there wasn't time to do it in 2 days.

But I had seen the forecast 4 days beforehand. Granted, Harvey did form & change quickly, but local mayors should know the risk of that & act on it. In NOLA they do.

Here is a #thread for the May 14th court proceedings in the trial for #NXIVM leader Keith Raniere. These are my notes after reading through the transcripts provided by court.
Court begins with an immediate sidebar which is redacted from the transcripts. After a discussion the jury is brought in and the judge explains an alternate juror was sick and they would adjourn for the day. The attorneys still have some things to discuss, however.
A discussion starts by assistant U.S. Attorney Moira Penza. She says some materials have to do with things recovered during a search warrant at Nancy Salzman’s home at 3 Oregon Trail when Raniere was arrested.
