What a foolish tweet. "The masses" will not get any say on this (& have never been asked their view of "No Deal"). The question is simply this: who does a new PM have to ask before flinging the economy off a cliff? 120,000 unelected Tory activists or our elected representatives?
When Lenin talked of the "vanguard party", whose "duty is to lead the masses", I don't think he had the Tory Party in mind.
(Frankly, who cares what Lenin would have called it?)
