The Trump Administration is engaged in one of the most unprecedented cover-ups since Watergate—and it is not just about Russia. This cover-up spans across numerous investigations.
This year, the White House has not produced 1 document to the Oversight Committee. Not 1 document in response to our requests on:

- The hurricanes in PR
- Security clearance abuses
- Efforts to transfer nuclear tech to Saudi Arabia
- Hush $ payments

What are they covering up?
Nobody is above the law—not even the President.

The resolution that the House passed today reaffirms that Congress has independent authority under the Constitution to investigate waste, fraud, abuse, & wrongdoing so we can pass laws on behalf of our constituents.

The President and his Attorney General expect the American people to be blind to what we can now see.
This report catalogues in excruciating detail a proliferation of lies by the President to the American people, as well as his incessant and repeated efforts to encourage others to lie.
Contrary to AG Barr’s attempts at misdirection, it is crystal clear from the report that DOJ’s policy against indicting a sitting President played a key role in Special Counsel Mueller’s analysis—in fact, it is the very first point in the obstruction section of his report.

As the Trump shutdown continues in its 20th day, federal food assistance programs – including WIC, school breakfast and lunch programs, the Emergency Food Assistance Program, and SNAP – are in peril, potentially leaving millions with the fear of going hungry.
Because of the Trump shutdown, thousands of families are at risk of being evicted from their homes as @HUDgov cannot renew low-income housing contracts. And, @HUDgov's Real Estate Assessment Center is not conducting inspections, putting the health and safety of tenants at risk.
The Trump shutdown is putting every commuter and traveler in danger. Air traffic controllers are working without pay, 3,000 @FAANews safety inspectors are furloughed, and @NHTSAgov has suspended data analysis and investigations into motor vehicle manufacturing defects.
