That's interested because it makes it appear Dowless instructed them on what to say to state investigators. But in a state elections board hearing around the same time, Dowless said he only ever told his people to simply tell the truth. #ncpol #nc09

This story is wild: One of my followers (@the_stormclam) shared this Facebook post from Greensboro, NC Rabbi Fred Guttman on how an electronic voting machine was wrongly switching some of his votes from Dem to GOP. Guttman is my father’s rabbi, & Gboro’s in a key House seat #NC13
Like a number of North Carolina counties, Guilford (pop ~500k) uses electronic voting machines that produce a paper record. But it’s likely that tons of voters don’t bother checking that internal receipt when they vote. Make sure you do if you vote on one
To be clear, there’s no indication yet that this is anything but an error or is a widespread problem. However, if anything like this happens to you, alert polling place staff immediately & ensure your vote is recorded properly. And push your representatives to adopt paper ballots
