#TRADING Weekend Learning Time; Power of #Pivots ; Yesterday's BNF futures resistance was clouded with a confluence zone involving 1) prev day vwap, Camarilla L3 and Floor pivot low. Market gave 3 opportunities to short when it pulled back to these confluence zones.
Pattern to be watched out for short : 1) Camarilla L3+Floor Pivot Low + Prev day vwap 2) Price dropping below this zone 3) Short position execution at the first pull back after confirming price action at this zone. 4) Addnl confirmation LTF RSI below HTF RSI. 5)Stop abv CamL3.
Why I didn't act yesterday? I had a loss trade and after booking I stopped looking at the markets. So best I can do is to learn from the charts and tweet whatever I have observed.

BNF weekly pivots has formed an IV (Inside Value) relationship, meaning the weekly pivot for next week's trading is within the weekly pivots that was used for the current week. Now what does this signify?....

This is the advantage of pivots. Pivots tell you the possible structure of the markets for the next day / next week / next month. So you always enter into the market with an extra info ….

#PIVOTS Do you know? There are 4 types of CPR relationship vis a vis Prev day cpr; 1)HB ( today’s cpr entirely above prev days cpr) 2) OHV ( today’s cpr partially above prev day cpr) 3) LV (today’s CPR entirely below prev days cpr) 4)OLV (today’s cpr partially below ....
....Prev days cpr) 5) IV (Inside Value) (Today’s cpr is within Prev day’s cpr) 6) OV ( Outside Value ) ( Today’s cpr is engulfing Prev days cpr) ; Each of this relationship denotes a clue; 1 is predominantly bullish, 2 mildly bullish, 3 bearish, 4 mildly bearish.....
....5 possible trend day, 6) possible range bound day. Closing price point adds further strength to the above clues, for eg I case of 1 of price closes above the cpr, the bullish view is strengthened.....

#BANKNIFTY Future bar by bar commentary for today's move for learning purpose.

1/n
After a powerful reversal with massive volume & wide range bar yesterday #BNF closed above EMA21 & has made higher higher on 15M candles & didnt break the low of any previous candle.
2/n

This shows the strength in the move & shows the strong momentum upside. After so many days of downfall, bears were shorting on every rise & this was a perfect "Bear Trap" setup (yesterday it broke the day low only to reverse).
3/n
At yesterday close selling profit booking was witnessed but today's open didn't break the low of that candle as well. It shows we still have some steam left for upside.

Sharing my analysis for 9th Jan #BNF possible trades on #PriceAction:
1) Day started with a weak candle closing near the lows so 1st short was below the low of it. Target EMA21.
2) Price took little support & bounced back. You can scalp for quick profits here as well.
3) After that price couldnt sustain the upmove & closes below EMA21. Exit longs but no shorts yet until the recent low breaks convincingly.
4) It tried to break the low but not convincingly & we see a Doji shows weak selling & good buying pressure. Watch for next 1-2 candles.

I actually think the constitutional problems presented by Trump are grave.

Our country has vested magical powers in The Word of the President. And for years, significantly bc 3,000 Americans died, we've expanded the power of The Word (abetted by many #Resistance heroes, btw).
There were always interesting questions about that. But now Trump comes on the scene, with the power of The Word. And starts issuing Presidential orders via Tweet, some he means, some he later backs off on. We treated it as a joke but bc of the power of The Word, it's not a joke.
We've literally rolled out a whole new jurisprudence about whether The Word issued by Tweet is legally binding, whether it's before the election or after, whether it happened during Executive Time or not.
