So I've been sent the link and it's 100% true - the NSDAP (Nazi party) did in 1926 turn its back on the Speaker of the Reichstag...... Nice role models Mr Farage
They are turning their backs on the Speaker and Fritz Löwenthal a Jewish member of the German Communist party in the Reichstag in 1930 not 1926 - the stock photo is wrongly annotated - but the point remains
I many ways worse of course because there's the added disgusting anti-semitism
This has really upset an awful lot of Brexit party people. I'm going to have to switch my phone off before it melts.

Meanwhile thanks to Talking Pictures I've discovered that during WW2 the actor Peter Butterworth was imprisoned in the camp where Wooden Horse escape happened. He was one of the vaulters. Years later he auditioned for the film and got turned down...because he didn't look the part
He also made his own escape... got caught by the Hitler Youth and joked he'd never work with children after that.
He ended up at Stalag Luft III of Great Escape fame where he met Talbot Rothwell who went on to write the Carry on films.... all the time he was working for MI9. Incredible story.
