Holy crap.

So I went to film communist @joey4revolution light a flag on fire in front of the White House.

What I didn’t expect was that the flag burst into flames and the Proud Boys showed up. Fighting ensued.

Things got violent (tweet 1 of a thread that’ll take some time.)

HD footage still importing, but in the meantime I’m posting the video from my phone.

After the initial violence and fire, the cops pushed everyone back. Communists stayed, and lit second flag.

Further conflict and two arrests including @joey4revolution.

Things turned conversational for a while, until a person on the left wing side head butted a right-winger, which turned the situation into a brawl when he responded by punching her in the face.

She was arrested.

So my computer finished importing the footage from my HD camera.

The Proud Boys celebrated the communists' arrests by chanting "antifa are terrorists!" and "fuck the SPLC!"

The communist activists left behind a dog crate they intended to use to protest the border camps.

One MAGA activist crawled in and pretended to cry, apparently mocking @AOC.

Cops made him get out and keep walking.

Here's what Proud Boy @lukerohlfing had to say about the situation.

He says the group was having beers at a nearby bar when they heard what was happening which is why they ran over to the White House.

Here's what Enrique Tarrio, leader of the Proud Boys, had to say about what happened.

His comrades chimed in.

"Self defense is great!" one said.

The police escorted the Proud Boys away, who offered them a celebratory chant of "Blue lives matter! Blue lives matter!"

As they walked, the group joked about the idea that Nancy Pelosi is an alcoholic who "hates ICE except in her whiskey" but she was "hot, like in the 60's... she had a nice rack."

One followed up by randomly chanting "Jared Holt sucks!"

To my knowledge, @jaredlholt wasn't there.

As the Proud Boys walked, one officer with @DCPoliceDept held up a first to "Pound it" with a cigar in his mouth.

"You get a shot! And you get a shot!"

The group then went into to Harry's Bar, which is known as a conservative hotspot in DC.

They say two were arrested (I counted three, but I may be wrong), and two officers are reportedly in the hospital.

I’ve confirmed from @zdroberts that it was indeed two arrested, which you see early in this thread.

The third was this individual doing the head butting, but they were released on site without charge.

So two actually arrested and charged.

I’m here now at the courthouse where @joey4revolution is expected to go before a judge at 1pm. At 12:30, his supporters with the Revolutionary Communist Party are expected to give a statement.
