I'm furious at @YouTube for what they did to me. @Google doesn't care about "pride." They don't care about their LGBT content creators, and they - indeed - don't care about their creators at all.

This thread is going to embarrass them. Retweet it. All of it.
On June 15, 2017, Google reached out to me through a third party licensing agency.

"Urgent interest in clip for Google LBGTQ campaign..." they say.

They want to license some footage of mine from a pro-LGBT demonstration.

"There is no compensation" they tell me.
I called the licensor. They say Google will be using my footage in an "iconic" Google Pride video for 2017. Google has instructed them that no sources are to be paid no matter what.

Also can't promise credit. Hopefully, but up to the editor. I approved, emailed them saying so.
June 2017, the video is released:

"In a world where some people still try to silence LGBTQ+ voices, the act of being yourself is an act of bravery for all to see," Youtube says.

Watermark is cropped out, No credit

My Youtube channel generates money three ways:
1) Ad revenue (but not anymore!)
2) Licensing to other companies / films etc.
3) Patreon.com/fordfischer

Youtube demonetized me, and they refused to pay for licensing.

So this #PrideMonth I want you to know: @YouTube doesn't care about pride. They don't care about @gaywonk. They don't care about @scrowder.

They don't care about us.

They care about money and brand.

I don't want to embarrass them, but if it hurts, maybe they'll listen.
Some people in the replies are trying to call me “liberal” or “leftist” because I’m criticizing Google’s censorship and talking about how I don’t think @YouTube actually supports LGBT creators.

Others might assume I’m conservative or right wing for it.

To all those people:
