How To Stay Lean On Vacation (Thread):

Got a vacation coming up?

There's no need to blow up, get fat, and return home a bloated mess.

You can AND SHOULD maintain your leanness. I've done it many times.

This could potentially save you MONTHS of painful dieting.

Here's how:
#1) Do Daily Cardio

This is absolutely huge, and non-negotiable.

Even if you're careful, you're still going to be consuming more calories than you would be doing at home - you're on vacation after all.

So you NEED to burn them off.

Walking/cycling/swimming - just do it.

Next
#2) Do OMAD (One Meal A Day)

I usually do the 18:6 variation of Intermittent Fasting.

But on vacation, I recommend fasting all day, and saving 100% of your calories for the evening meal.

You'll have a lot more room for error at the most critical part of the day.

More:
There's always going to be a strong social component to the vast majority of
vacations, and the damage is done in the evenings.

OMAD protects you against this.

Next:
#3) Have Nights Off

This means for at least a couple of evenings (depending on the length of your vacation), have time where you don't drink, and get some proper sleep.

It's impossible to get a good night's sleep with booze in your system, not to mention all the calories.

#4) Choose The Highest Protein Meals

There's always plenty of meat options (unless you've made the error of going to a Vegan restaurant), and there's usually higher protein options.

Choose them, rather than complete junk food.

#5) Take Shakes

Protein shakes.

It's a very quick and easy way to top up your protein intake for the day, and bonus tip:

Have it just before your one main meal in the evening.

You'll find you won't go overboard on calories.
