So this here is where disinformation laundering's role perhaps becomes more apparent. When dim bulbs Jacob Wohl, @Jack_Berkman and @gatewaypundit were trying to spear Robert Mueller's reputation by baselessly accusing him of being a sex pest, it was intended to seed doubts, and
then later get referred back to after people had forgotten that it was all a lie. This was such a spectacular failure that it received all the mockery it deserved, which I deliberately piled onto, because had we all not done so it would be used right now.
This is not the first time nor is it the only time this tactic has been used. Far from it. But this is the only time that it was such a high-profile fuckup from a bunch of payasos that would have been used as a bot/troll call-and-response line right now otherwise
can instead be used as an example. That's how it works and why debunking things in the moment (or ahead of the moment if possible) is. Because otherwise it becomes its own self-referential informational ecosystem that has the appearance of validity to the casual reader.
