Love and solidarity with @mashrou3leila. This is utterly ridiculous: #Lebanese church demands cancellation of Mashrou' Leila show. The band are such a great representative of Lebanese artists and they have performed many times already in their country. reut.rs/2LBdlPG

On July 12, it was such a thrill to see @mashrou3leila and author @rabihalameddine perform as part of Oliver Beer’s Vessel Orchestra at @Met_Breuer. They make #Lebanon proud and should be celebrated, not subjected to hate.

#Lebanon should not join #Jordan and #Egypt - two of the most repressive regimes in the region - in banning @mashrou3leila, one of the most popular bands in the region. Let them perform, #Lebanon!
