They will just see the final product.
Which is why you need to understand how hard you work.
Or there will be no final product.
A very dangerous mentality to have.
Will make a loser out of you.
A 'what's the point' mentality is when you feel like you're never fully being empathized with.
You work so hard behind the scenes, but no one gives you recognition.
Results?
'What's the point!' you say.
And you give up like a bum.
No one will ever know how hard your work.
'Wow, that's dark!'
No, the dark part is that they don't owe it to you either.
Picture someone who inspires you.
A celebrity, author, athlete etc.
How often are you thinking about their process?
More often than not, you are thinking about their production.
When you make the mindset reframe, you don't give a fuck whether they know you work hard or not.
Why?
Because YOU know you work hard.
That's how you self motivate.
That's how you produce value at a maniacal rate.
It's because you are independent.
You give yourself a pat on the back.
You understand how hard you work, day in and day out.
This is a cheat code to becoming best friends with yourself.
1. No one will ever know how hard you work.
2. It's only your duty to know how hard you work.
Then your results will skyrocket.
You are fulfilled, rather than chasing
You toughen your mind.
You pay them millions to retire forever & they'll be like 'fuck that!'
They conditioned themselves to thrive off hard work & see how far they can push themselves.
They think being lazy or unmotivated is BORING.
Once they go on a journey to invest in their process, they begin to look at other people's process over results.
Kobe Bryant, for example, is a role model.
Nowadays, I focus more on what he does behind the scenes vs. the final product
The more you can learn from how other people operate, the more inspiration you can have to go at it for the long run.
Congrats.
Welcome to the top % in your field.
Acknowledge your hard work & produce results.
You'll never ask 'what's the point' again.
Your work ethic will be remembered as the one of legends.
And that's when you can provide the blueprint to the next wave.
Amazing.
