My Brexit coverage is top of the class. I've got more.

The earliest date for a general election.

Tabled Sept 3rd
Voted Sept 4th
Triggered Sept 18th
Proclamation Sept 19th
Close of business Sept 25th
Election Day Oct 31st

Now the parliamentary numbers.

Tory+DUP working majority is 4

After the Brecon by election on Thursday dropping to 3
Which means that one revel and one abstention is enough to destroy the government

The government has two unavoidable functions to perform this autumn. It has to pass a new Queen's speech, and a new budget.
With a majority of 3 it will be unable to pass either. And it is no longer possible to prorogue parliament for the purpose of Brexit

We now draw our final conclusions.

There will be a general election this autumn. Brexit will be postponed again to accommodate it.
The Lib Dems will be offering a second referendum.
The Brexit party will be demanding a complete no deal Brexit.

Each side of the Brexit argument already has one party allocated to it.

All that remains is what Labour and the Tories do. Both parties are hopeless and their leaders useless, and I don't see either one of them being able to win a majority this year.

I think both Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn will be forced out of their job at another hung parliament.
Corbyn because that will be the fourth election in a row that he's lost, and the second general election.
And Johnson because he will have failed Brexit.

After that I think the rational side of both parties will take over again, we will have another referendum to abandon Brexit next year.
And Boris Johnson and Seumas Milne will scurry back to their newspapers, where clownish stupidity carries no consequence.
