I went to crying school. Professional Stanislavsky method acting training. The technique teaches ways to trigger emotions. To cry on cue eight shows a week. Music is one of the things but less used because you're on stage and it may not work in the scene. Sadness is a function of
ones life experiences. A song can trigger tears in one person and joy in another. It is part of your sensory memory. But River is pretty sad. Danny Boy is the hardest song for me to sing now without breaking down because it means something now to me more than ever did before.
Something the directors teach you to never share with anyone. That you put in a place only you can find.

1. @TheDemocrats problem is they really don't understand how insurance works. Obamacare was a first start but as it sits now is not sustainable. Forcing small groups to insure all pre-existing conditions is not sustainable. If that is going to be the foundation of our policy then
2. we have to accept universal coverage of some sort paid by a tax on everyone. One success that the KochBrothers' have achieved in destroying the middle class is by making social programs insolvent. Self employed people pay a self employment tax that was the Bush41 tax increase
3. cost him his second term. But true to the billionaire class that tax goes from 15.3% on the first $132,900 of income then drops for higher earners to 2.9 on income above that. So that makes the Medicare and Social Security systems approaching insolvency. It's a regressive tax

2. industry out of the Bankruptcy Code creating instead an easily co-opted state regulatory system: Insurance companies and banks. Democrats are not going to easily kill the health insurance industry. My plan is to convert the current system to a federal run system by slowly
3. use attrition to move the employees to federal employment so that the industry is phased out and the employees move to jobs overseeing the drug companies and service providers. Any for-profit health insurance companies will simply be dissolved.

I begin with Albert Benjamin “Happy” Chandler Sr. Let’s just call him by the name everyone knew him as. Happy Chandler.

Happy Chandler was quite the guy. He was a Democrat, a Senator, served as Baseball Commissioner and was inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame. His son, Ben, also served for KY in the 6th District but lost to Andy Barr in 2014.
He was also a Lt. Gov and become Gov in 1995.

Chandler was fiscally minded and helped KY reduce debt and improved education and transportation. That was in 1945.

Watching the livestream of @LAW_witchhunt, before the meeting starts @ken4london turns to Graham Bash "you're Jewish?" He makes his speech first and then walks out "promised the kids I'd be home by 8..."
Leaving Tina Werkmann (who is she?) to introduce Jackie Walker and Graham Bash to the crowd. It's a bit sad really, the night before her expulsion hearing she wheels out Graham. You can imagine how his speech goes blah blah "I'm Jewish and it's all a smear" blah blah blah

Okay I am going to live-tweet Ken Burns Civil War because this is the content you pay for. I’ll be doing it from Episode 2 onwards because I’m not going to rewatch Episode 1.
Though I will say about Episode 1 that it manages to weave several threads together and make clear the centrality of slavery to the confederate treason. The tragedy is the failure to recognize exactly what treason means: to country, to community, to family.

On this Day - 1939, the #Nazi-#Soviet Pact was announced in Moscow. As well as a 10-year Non-Aggression Pact, Stalin and Hitler agreed to divide central Europe between them. Here, Stalin toasts the pact with Hitler's photographer, Heinrich Hoffmann.
The Nazi-Soviet Pact gave #Hitler the green light for his plans to invade Poland: a week after its signature, German forces invaded their eastern neighbour. Poland's allies - Britain and France - responded by declaring war on Germany on 3 September. #WW2 in Europe had begun.
Two weeks later, on 17 September, #Stalin's Red Army also invaded #Poland, to claim the spoils promised by the Pact with Hitler. The two invading forces met at Brest-Litovsk, where a joint Red Army/Wehrmacht parade was held, with German and Soviet troops happily fraternising.
