California is turning public schools into political brainwashing centers. They’re going to teach far left ideology to kids as fact and if you have a kid who won’t go along with it... How’ll they be graded or ostracized?

So glad we left the insane asylum known as California.

I don’t think people fully grasp just how destructive it is that the socialists and communists on the far left have infiltrated every level of public + higher education in the United States. I encourage parents to get involved & know the curriculum your kid is being taught from.

States like California are implementing the dream strategy Democrats would love to employ in every state. The state is not going to teach kids how to think but instead will teach them exactly what to think (or else). They’ll no doubt reward the kids who are farthest left too.

"A kid isn’t a Republican or Democrat" is how things should operate in a sane system but between California’s new Sex-Ed curriculum and this new anti-capitalism curriculum it becomes clear that the Democrats in charge of CA are crossing a red line and politicizing education.

I’ve never been more thankful to leave California. Every year brings a full nanny state closer to reality. This year my kid was called a racist by white liberal kids because her Hispanic dad (me) is Republican. It’ll get worse with state run political indoctrination at school.

Know what your kid is being taught. Take the time to ask them and their teachers about it. Ensure your rights as a parent are honored. Voice concerns often. Join/Run for school boards. If you don’t, someone on the far left will and what’s happening in CA is the result of that.

If you don’t live in California, don’t get complacent. This is at your doorstep too. The far left will work to ensure the same politicization of your child’s education. You must be active and take positions of influence to protect all kids from the politicization of education.

If any parents have helpful advice from their own experience on school boards, PTA’s, etc. leave advice in the comments so other parents have some ideas aside from what I’ve already listed on how to get involved and ensure a politically neutral environment for all kids at school.
