Me : None in particular. It could make sense as part of an industrial strategy play. My natural tendency for healthcare would be more towards a Buurtzorg "complete care" approach - bbc.co.uk/news/health-22… ...
... however, that doesn't mean both can't be done. I'm a little cautious on grand technology plays unless it's part of a wider industrial policy i.e. investment in UK based startups in the space, setting up a special economic zone to encourage this etc.
The worst case scenario for any technology focus is when it ultimately becomes a paid learning exercise for large hardware vendors and management consultancies to find new markets. I do hope the NHS has grown far beyond that. It should be interesting.
