Me : Well, I'm certainly concerned over LibDem intentions on austerity, education and privatisation. They've shown they couldn't be trusted in the past - theyworkforyou.com/mp/11971/jo_sw…

... however, whilst the LibDems are more concerned with keeping the status quo with EU, Labour is far more concerned with austerity, privatisation, education and reducing inequality ... it's not an easy one but that doesn't mean common ground cannot be found.

X : Labour should just back remain.
Me : Why? I've said this so many times - given a choice of remain + status quo and leave then I vote leave. However, you want me to support remain then give me the things that matter more i.e. reducing inequality in society etc.

... I only get these things - a focus on reducing inequality, reducing unnecessary and dogmatic privatisation, ending austerity, a focus on investment and opportunity for all with the Labour manifesto. Brexit is a sideshow compared to these.

X : Next election will be a single issue election because of Cummings.
Me : Alas, Cummings is very capable. I met him, sometime ago.
X : Does Labour have its equivalent?
Me : I'm sure they have many. Dominic is capable but not as capable as ... for example ... @steiny.
