We are witnessing a tragedy of historic proportion in the making. 24 people are dead in government camps. Tens of thousands of innocent people have been torn from their families. Children being put in cages.

Now is the time to act.

Here's what you can do today:

Find out who your local representatives are and contact them by going here: commoncause.org/find-your-repr….

Tell congresspeople that they must defund the DHS and ICE.

Tell local reps to end all contracts with ICE, GEO Group, and Core Civic, the companies profiting off of these camps.

Look for immigrant justice and activist organizations in your area. They exist. Just google it. Give them money. Give them time. Give them your voice.

Follow @NeverAgainActn or go to neveragainaction.com to find actions in your area, or to organize an action in your area.

Educate yourself and others on what's happening. The biggest issue right now is that Americans simply aren't aware of the evil currently taking place in our name.

Convince them however you can.

Emphasize the human tragedy.

Emphasize the cost to tax payers.

Get them to care!

You can do all this today from the comfort of your couch.

What matters is that you do something.

If we all act, we can stop this. It's only through the inaction and indifference of the general public that this evil is allowed to operate.
