I have been in two unions
I have "won" 2 NLRA cases

I will never join a Union again

They promise rainbows and raises all day and then you find yourself laid off, broke, and having bi-weekly meetings for months only to get retro pay

Even winning wasn't worth it in the end
Even though we had proof of labor violations going up against any company was too expensive and time consuming for anyone of us.

In the end our industry just kept shutting down offices because the margins were too low anyway.
I felt like the unions were trying to take advantage of us

They didn't actually care that they were costing us our jobs

To me it seemed like they just wanted that cut of our paycheck
That being said the idea of collective bargaining is amazing and extremely important.

There's just too much corruption in my opinion.
