NYTimes made a quiz that guesses if youre a Republican or Democrat

It asks if youre Black, Hispanic, Or Asian and you can choose yes or no

I'm either 100% Asian or not Asian at all, neither of which describe my life or family

Its a good way to explain the root of my politics
far left says I'm white 'passing' and the alt right calls me a dirty race mixer.

My character and my experiences mean absolute shit to these ideologues
I get called Puerto Rican or hispanic by white people and I get called white by many non white people (interestingly Asians often notice I'm part asian)

They make assumptions about me before they even know me

Racism is shit

I agree, we can't let language evolve naturally because we are smart

Therefore I'm going to start making up new words that are not offensive

Instead of saying 'hey guys' if there are feminists in the room I will say

'Hey gloojes'

Just made it up, new word, and its inclusive
I will start using new words for pronouns too

How about instead of arguing about he/her/they or whatever we just started referring to people as

'blarf'

"Blarf said blarf wanted to get blarfself a blarf-healing cutting pad for blarfs artwork"

New words can't be offensive
Instead of saying man or woman we should refer to people as Humon, the O makes it non gendered

Plus then we get to pretend we are like the ferengi

This is politics today

Two articles from the same company describing me as either right wing or as a lefty depending on if it fits their chosen narrative

Both stories contain context showing they know who I am, either by my combined sub count or that I worked for Vice News
When they needed to smear the White house summit they say I'm right wing

When they wanted to show the left is challenging big tech they call me an online lefty

Americans are once again allowing the Republican and Democrat party divide us over race, when in fact race is not the issue! Please look at the foreign policies these woman support, and the policies they do not support! This is not about race & we must address the real issues!

I ask for Americans to please look at the human policies these woman are addressing. I ask Americans to actually research the US Foreign Policy that causes massive Refugees and Endless War.

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay and while I usually wouldn't participate in hashtags, this one is of particular importance to me. Here's some of the most important statistics regarding suicide in our society today.
In the last 20 years suicide rates have increased by around 25%. More than half of those who died by suicide, had not been diagnosed with a mental health condition. There are only three causes of death which are increasing year over year: drug overdoses, Alzheimer's, and suicide.
Women are four times more likely to attempt suicide, while men are five times more likely to die by suicide. Men are far more likely to use lethal means (firearm, hanging) while women are more likely to use para-lethal means such as self-poisoning with medications.
