conservative jews have long argued that jewish dems should abandon their party over rising antisemitism & antizionists on the left. trump's usual mangled/incoherent/stupid attempt at making that point was not a charge of duel loyalty @ U.S., & i suspect most ppl know it
what lots of ppl might not know is that the impetus for trump's comments were the actions of 2 openly antisemitic congresswomen who this week teamed up with a org that defended suicide bombers & accused jews of f'ing BLOOD LIBEL. that barely gets any coverage.
if trump is going to tweet out wayne allyn root praising him as the 'king of israel' and 'second coming,' he deserves to be mocked. but the fact is the squad--and other dems-support real-life policies that target jews. trump does't.
and i agree that jewish groups should call out these comments re loyalty--in whatever context they are meant. ted lieu said something similar the other day, & ted lieu isn't an antisemite. but they don't. they only call out one party. the party that happens to be pro-israel.
