One of the most common (and weak) objections to IF, is that it's 'starving yourself'.
I see the logic - you're 'not eating' breakfast.
So you must be starving, right?
Wrong.
Here's why:
Right off the bat, people who come out with this objection almost always have 20%+ bf.
And guess what?
You couldn't starve at that level of fat, even if you wanted to.
Next:
And the vast majority of people on my IF eating system, are eating more than 2000 calories and losing fat.
But they won't STARVE at this level, and neither will you.
You'll stall well before you get anywhere near 'starving'.
You may be a little more hungry in the AM at first.
But remember that you're not 'starving', because you're simply shifting most of these calories backwards.
And they're usually BETTER calories too (no cereal, toast).
Next:
You get to feast on tons of good food:
- Meat
- Fish
- Veggies
- Eggs
- etc.
Which makes it difficult to claim that you're 'starving'.
You're not.
You make up for it later.
Next:
If anything, you're the opposite of 'starving.'
And this is the 'magic' of IF.
You get fuller (not hungrier, like most diets), on less calories.
Finally:
- Leaner
- Sharper
- Healthier
- Younger-looking
- Better-looking
