If this is a failed attempt to smash the table, then so be it but I am tired of being dubbed an Anti-Yoruba person because I stand for what I think is right. I was one of @GEJonathan greatest critic till I conducted an investigation and found out he was a victim of propaganda
Go and check my earlier tweets, I was an admirer of Bola Tinubu and also supported the emergence of @OfficialAPCNg because I believed in viable opposition, my disappointment came about when @MBuhari was chosen as a candidate and @ProfOsinbajo was chosen as his VP
This went against everything I stood for because for me @MBuhari represented a past we should have nothing to with and @ProfOsinbajo had no business being on the ballot, believe me, if Rabiu Kwankwaso and Rotimi Amaechi were candidate’s I still may be an APC supporter
But what I noticed was an injustice against a man who was from a minority group- The way @GEJonathan was treated was unfair- If GEJ had done half what @MBuhari has done, he would have been toast but he was from a minority tribe and was treated as such and bullied politically
These were the things I noticed and stood back from supporting @OfficialAPCNg , for me @ProfOsinbajo has no business in governance at the moment being a Yoruba man- we have had 8years civilian Presidency and Obasanjo and Shonekan were at other times head of Govt
What I saw in 2015 was a bullying of minority tribes by the majority tribe which was Northerners and Sourhwesterners- This is clearly elicited in Ojukwu’s book ‘because I am involved’ tha t Nigeria protects the strong and trampled on the weak, This was against my principle
If we are to be fair as Nigerians, there is no need to question why Igbos should have a shot at Presidency or Niger Delta people, so @ProfOsinbajo being in the mix of Presidency seems unfair to me and seem like a manipulation of what fairness means- Igbos are Nigerians too
I will not sacrifice my Omoluabi for the sake of Jagaban’s inordinate ambition- This man Jagaban is responsible for the collapse of political structure in Nigeria #arewatwitter shouldn’t forget that it was the same Tinubu that ensured that @GEJonathan came to power
When Yaradua died, it was the likes of Tinubu and Tunde Bakare that ensure that Jonathan came to power, it was the same Jagaban that went to Abuja and supported @GEJonathan against the candidate of his own party, Nuhu ribadu who was a Northerner
Where was the love for the North or Northerners when Tinubu gladly sold out Nuhu Ribadu to @GEJonathan , this is the question #arewatwitter should be asking- Yes, we were told by AC members then to vote for Fashola and federal vote for GEJ, ask anyone who knows
It was the same Jagaban that went to meet Babangida and asked him to contest, so that he could be Vice President- It was the same Jagaban that presented @atiku as a candidate against the wish of Obasanjo, why didn’t Jagaban know that Atiku was corrupt then?
I am not anti- Yoruba, I am not being an Omoluabi- I cannot standby and watch while the concept of good character that goes to the core of who Yorubas are is destroyed and the Northerners maintain their concept of Kirki. I cannot standby and watch us sacrifice all for one man.
