Listen, I don't agree with Natalie about a lot of things when it comes to gender and sexuality. but.

Some of the response I've seen recently have been flat out misogynistic. It's possible to deal with a phrasing or take you don't agree with, without actually being transphobic.

I've seen so many "This is why we don't trust trans women" takes. Like, come on

How many takes of "trans women have male privilege, which is why they act like this" that refer to Natalie do I have to see today? How many of you are gonna call trans women men whenever they don't do what you want?

I've seen *several* people now also 1) post blatant transmisogyny against Natalie and then 2) propose *me* as the "new queen".

I don't know Natalie, we haven't talked. I've openly disagreed with her many times. But this shit that a lot of you are doing is just abusive.

I don't wanna be praised for being more woke, for having "better politics" if that comes on the back of you bashing trans women in general. Just call us men, don't hide around it by trying to use PC language as to why you hate trans women.

I dunno, I just think that trans people fighting other trans people using wild general stereotypes does no one good.

I'm not defending contra here. Nor am I attacking her. I am saying that being abusive to her, transphobic and misogynistic to her, no matter the context, is bad.

If you shit on trans women, you shit on me too. I am one of those. There is a difference between harsh critique and flat out abuse.

Don't use me as a weapon against her. Don't you care to claim moral high ground when you thinly call trans women men. Fuck you.

Like, valid feedback is *always* a thing. I could have plenty to say on the recent drama myself. But so, so many of are really looking for any opportunity to hate trans women in general.
