The owner of a Portland pub that hosted antifa events has been temporarily banned from attending Portland Timbers games for defying the Major League Soccer’s prohibition of political symbols. Antifa adopted & uses the symbol of a German paramilitary group. oregonlive.com/news/2019/09/c…
Antifa activists in the NW have been using major league soccer games to display propaganda on banners & flags. This became controversial & a decision was made recently to bar political symbols at games. Antifa activists continue to defy ban as it’s a powerful recruitment tool.
American antifa groups lack their own origin stories, mythos & traditions, hence they appropriate football (soccer) hooliganism from Europe. There’s already a template to follow.

At first @TimbersFC game in Portland following @MLS reversal of its short-lived ban of antifa propaganda on flags/banners, many celebrated. It’s unclear if the policy reversal affects other political symbols that were barred. Earlier in season, fan waving Trump flag was removed.
Antifa propaganda is ubiquitous at @MLS games in the Pacific Northwest, whether on clothing (which was never affected by the short-lived ban) or on flags & banners.
The “Iron Front” three arrows symbol was used by a social democrat paramilitary in Germany in interwar years. The group was both anti-communist & anti-fascist. American antifa groups have recently appropriated symbol, even though its movement is made up of many communists.

Knowles described Greta as “mentally ill” in an interview, citing her family’s autobiography. Everyone has rushed to condemn him. In the book, released last year, her parents detail Greta’s struggles w/depression & severe anxiety. She stopped eating, talking & going to school.
Greta suffers from OCD & selective mutism. Her sister, Beata, is also autistic, and has OCD as well. The family autobiography details the painful struggles of the two daughters because of their illnesses.
Greta is cheered by adults for her “climate strike” work, which she’s done for awhile and it involves skipping school. But she doesn’t skip just any school, she attended an academy for students with special needs—one that has limited spots for children in need of extra help.

Breaking: An investigation by the state found that @CiderRiot, the pub popular w/antifa militants, had knowingly allowed its patrons to use ‘illegal weapons’ against people on May Day. Report says the owner & a staff person tried to mislead investigators. oregonlive.com/news/2019/09/p…
The damning state investigative report recommends multiple charges against the owner, Abram Goldman-Armstrong & his @CiderRiot staff. In May, I was one of the people attacked by a masked patron from pub. An OSU student journalist was also left bloodied.
State report says owner & its staff provided false statements to them: @CiderRiot security Joseph LeVasseaur originally said he stood by door to check IDs. Video show him pepper spraying & fighting people. Owner said he instructed staff to call police. Report says that’s false.

2) Ellen’s husband Andrew Hauptman was born to a Jewish family and raised in Smithtown, NY. He graduated from Yale and Harvard. He worked at Alex. Brown & Sons in NY City, and later with Universal Studios in London with Ellen’s cousin Edgar Bronfman Jr.

Within minutes of @YouTube's announcement of a new purge it appears they caught my outlet, which documents activism and extremism, in the crossfire.

I was just notified my entire channel has been demonetized. I am a journalist whose work there is used in dozens of documentaries.
Youtube says "our team of policy specialists carefully looked over the videos you’ve uploaded to your channel News2Share. We found that a significant portion of your channel is not in line with our YouTube Partner Program policies."

As you'll see in the next tweet, that's wrong.
Youtube sent me only two specific videos that they've taken down.

1st is a video of @JasonRCharter and other #Antifa activists confronting a Holocaust denier. While it's true that the Holocaust denier says Holocaust-denier-stuff, this is raw vid documenting him being shut down.

Of course they had a vested interest in doing so since they broadcast the team's games, but that hasn't always happened. I remember 680 had the rights to the Hawks and NEVER talked about them during their daily shows. So 92.9 totally could have just ignored ATL UTD
